Visit The Oyster Farm Shop at American River where locally farmed oysters are processed daily. The Oyster Farm Shop is the processing and packaging facility for Kangaroo Island shellfish and is the largest commercial oyster farm on Kangaroo Island. The Oyster Farm Shop also showcases Kangaroo Island aquaculture and local sustainable seafood including Kangaroo Island Abalone, King George whiting, Marron, smoked Barramundi, smoked oysters and the largest range of locally made sauces and condiments on the island.
